The Ripple Longdrink Glass Set of 4 stands out with its fluting detail. It is reminiscent of the 1920s when fluting was very popular. Apart from the visual effect, it adds texture. The shape and details are achieved with a mould. Glass is poured into it while in a liquid state. Using a mouth-blowing pipe, it is blown and expanded into every part of the mould. When it solidifies, the glass will have taken on the required shape. While their shape is the same, each glass has its own unique look; the fluting starts at the top and continues to different spots on the glass. On one, it goes on to the halfway point before the glass tapers towards the bottom. On another, the glass tapers close to the bottom. The tapering that makes the glass look stacked is achieved with the mould.
