The Trash Wastebasket Ø 22cm from the Italian label Magis was created by English designer Jasper Morrison, proving that even the humblest household items are an appropriate subject for elite designers to tackle. Morrison comes from England, but has spent much of his career working from New York, where he has become a leading light in the minimalist school. In 2005, he turned his creative mind to the trash basket - an item that rarely receives the attention it deserves. The result was this attractive, functional Trash Wastebasket Ø 22cm that will suit modern offices, studies and living rooms equally well.
The product has been made from a single piece of injection-moulded plastic. Morrison has selected polypropylene, which is extremely tough and will resist scuffing and stains, helping the basket to retain its smooth, futuristic look for as long as possible. It has dimensions of 30.5 x 30.5 x 36 cm and a diameter of 22 cm, providing plenty of capacity for your papers, food wrappers or whatever else builds up in the course of the day.
